Facilities & Lifestyle
Discover the amazing retirement village lifestyle Sugar Valley has to offer.
No matter your profession during your years of work, when it comes to planning your retirement, you deserve to spend your days relaxing, resting and doing the things that you love. Whether that’s throwing a hook and line into the river, knocking a ball around the putting green or simply sitting down to share a latte or two with friends, our Newcastle retirement village is surrounded by a whole host of facilities that you’re sure to enjoy.
Indeed, we at AEH Retirement Living aren’t exaggerating when we say that the Sugar Valley Lifestyle Estate is situated in what is arguably one of the very finest locations for a retirement village in the entirety of the Hunter Valley region, if not the whole of Australia itself. Found in West Wallsend, you’re never too far from the convenience of nearby Newcastle, but just what else are our fine Sugar Valley homes located nearby to?
Stockland Glendale Shopping Centre
Open seven days a week, with late night shopping on a Thursday, the Stockland Glendale Shopping Centre is home to a whole host of household name stores such as Coles, Woolworths and Target, so the weekly shop will be something that you can carry out with ease. Additionally, there’s a fantastic Event cinema, open from 10 a.m. until midnight every day of the week, so you can catch the latest blockbuster as soon as it’s released.
Sugar Valley Golf Club
What could be more relaxing than a gentle round of golf? The Sugar Valley Golf Club course is a shimmering green carpet of a surface, with a complete length of 6,511 yards – this will give you every opportunity for a good walk!
With a par of 71 for gentlemen, to 73 for the ladies, Sugar Valley golf course offers a challenge that’s not frustratingly difficult, but nor is it so easy as to put off the more proficient players. What’s more, residents in our Sugar Valley retirement community will enjoy complimentary club membership for a year – the Club House is also a great place to meet up with friends before a round.
Our purpose-built Community Centre represents a great place to catch up with your friends and neighbours before exploring the beauty of Sugar Valley – it’s open during regular office hours and on the weekend, but if you fancy a late night shindig, this can be arranged too! Regular BBQs and Happy Hours are organised by the social club too!
AEH’s Sugar Valley homes are amongst the finest retirement living units in the Hunter, so why not drop us a line today to arrange a free, no-obligation viewing – you’ll soon see what all the fuss is about!
